An inspiration image based on local landscape references and the school’s mascot - the coyote. The narrative scene reinforces ideas of community, teamwork, and the spirit of outbound adventure.

Throughout this mural’s creation, Doug met with students and staff from Centennial to develop content and share/mentor about his career as a visual artist. Doug continues to regularly present to Centennial’s graduating art students who are contemplating careers in the art field.
