Transforming cities into galleries.
My success as a public artist has been an ongoing study in site-specific art solutions, here in my hometown of Calgary and across Western Canada. For over three decades my art practice has focused on creative placemaking, painting murals that define public spaces in iconic ways. This process is intentionally interactive and collaborative; I enjoy working hands-on with different members of the community to develop artwork in response to specific aspects of location, heritage, cultural stories and natural surroundings.
I create visual statements that are community driven, culturally meaningful and aesthetically excellent.
