This series of illustrations was commissioned for Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park—what was then Alberta's newest provincial park located in the Calgary region north of the Bow River. The park's grand opening in 2011 included an outdoor interpretive signage program with custom illustrations of local flora and fauna, helping to educate viewers about the region's biodiversity as well as raise funds for developing park assets.
