Above: The grand, back wall greeting visitors as they enter the Visitor Centre for Elk Island National Park. A collection of key species are carefully rendered, all living in environments that suit them.

Below: An extension of the theme above, the Astotin Theatre similarly documents Alberta's biodiversity while also educating viewers on the park's ecosystem management. This built-for-space installation wraps around and down a hallway leading to a Parks Canada theatre. The wall was divided into ecological zones, each illustrated in paint and with interpretive panels and small pediments for artifacts.
